Why this product?

On larger systems with multiple panels or long cable runs, voltage drop forces expensive thick wiring. The high voltage configuration lets you use thinner, cheaper cable without sacrificing efficiency — and add more panels to existing builds without rewiring.

  • 210W V2 high voltage — 34.72V for multi-panel string systems
  • Thinner gauge cable over longer cable runs
  • Expand existing solar systems without rewiring
  • Each half operates independently when shaded
  • IP65 rated junction box with MC4 leads
  • 10-year power output guarantee (≥90%), 25-year (≥80%)
  • Requires MPPT controller (not compatible with PWM)

About this product

The Sphere 210W V2 High Voltage Twin Cell Solar Panel gives you all the shade-tolerant twin cell performance of the standard 210W V2 — but with doubled voltage (34.72V vs 17.36V) for maximum flexibility in multi-panel systems. Higher voltage means longer cable runs can use thinner gauge wire, and more panels can be added per string without costly wiring upgrades.

Like all Sphere High Voltage panels, this model requires an MPPT solar controller — the smart charging standard that extracts up to 30% more power from panels than older PWM controllers. If you're planning a multi-panel setup or have long cable runs from roof to battery bank, the High Voltage variant is the smarter choice.

They retain all the features that make Sphere the best solution for tackling partial shading. With the unique twin cell design, each half of the panel functions independently, ensuring consistent power output even when there is partial shading.

V2 upgrades over the 200W High Voltage predecessor:

  • 10W more output (210W vs 200W) from the same 670 × 1480mm footprint
  • Higher current per watt — improved V2 twin cell generation

Features:

  • 210W output with high voltage configuration (34.72V) — ideal for multi-panel string systems
  • Thinner gauge cable can be used over longer runs without efficiency loss
  • Add more panels to existing systems without rewiring
  • Sphere Twin Cell Technology — each half operates independently in partial shade
  • IP65 rated junction box with 0.9m MC4 leads
  • 10-year power output guarantee (≥90%), 25-year guarantee (≥80%)
  • Requires MPPT solar controller (not compatible with PWM)

Why this beats the alternatives

Higher voltage means more panels per string and thinner, cheaper cabling over longer runs — significant cost savings on larger installs. V2 delivers 10W more than the outgoing 200W HV panel from the same footprint. Requires an MPPT controller, which also extracts up to 30% more solar power than older PWM units.

Who it's for

RV, caravan, and marine users with longer cable runs between panels and charge controller, or anyone expanding an existing solar setup who wants to add panels without rewiring.
